Steel can be machined, stamped, cast, drawn, hot rolled, cold rolled and heat treated.  These and other processes will impart oils, soils and carbon scale on the steel that will need to be removed prior to plating or oxiding.  Metalline Corporation manufactures specialty chemicals that will effectively remove all types of oils as well as carbon heat treat and weld scale.
